Peter and I went on a canyoneering trip with our friends, Chuck and Kelly, back around the beginning of August and I’m just now getting around to posting. Next up, our loop trip through Oregon and WA.
On this trip, we experienced two fun hikes that involved swimming in cold water to get through the canyon. Luckily, Zion NP is very hot in August and the water felt great! The highlights of our trip were doing cannon balls in Orderville Canyon (we were required to jump from a few rocks into the water), some quick non-technical repels, two long hikes, and a really cool ending to our hike in Subway with a running waterfall for the last half mile….it was great! As you can see in the photos below.
